Ka-Kaw!!

Some teams have rhyming cheers, some have chants, some just say "Go Team!!"  We decided to go with something a little more original.  Christelle may have invented the "Ka-Kaw!!" but it spread like wildfire throughout our team.  Before we start, we "Ka-Kaw!!" as a team.  More "Ka-Kaw!!"ing happens when we catch a re-bound, score or when we just plain feel like "Ka-Kaw!!"ing!

This game was our highest scoring, to date.  We had 16 points (8 baskets) by the end of the game!  Each game we try to have a goal, and this game was no different.  Our goal today was to be more aggressive about getting the ball.  Catching re-bounds was a priority.  And we did do much better!  We may not have always been successful about getting the ball from our opponents, but we definitely were more aggressive about trying!  And we were MUCH better about catching re-bounds.

We also had more girls come to this game than any yet.  There were 10 girls there!  One thing I haven't mentioned yet was that the other team only had 3.  We offered to lend them some of our girls, but they declined and played with just their three.  It is just as well, since their 3 were really good and they still ended up with a score of 41!

So, we haven't won a game yet, but each game we have met our goal (whatever it was that week), and each week we get better!  But most importantly, we have TONS of fun together!  Ka-Kaw!!!
